Christopher O’Reilly is a South Florida–based maritime professional with extensive experience in the yachting and marine trades industry. Raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, Chris grew up immersed in sailing and competitive sports, spending countless hours on the waters of Long Island Sound. This early exposure shaped a lifelong connection to the sea and laid the foundation for a career built around vessels, craftsmanship, and service. Chris attended Brunswick School before continuing his education at Fairfield University. His professional journey began working summers in the Marine Department at Riverside Yacht Club, where he gained hands-on experience maintaining and operating vessels in a high-standards environment. He later earned his Merchant Mariner Certification, opening the door to professional yacht work. Over the course of his career, Chris worked as both mate and captain aboard motor yachts up to 126 feet in length, operating primarily out of South Florida. He was trusted by discerning owners and management companies for his attention to detail, technical understanding, and calm leadership style. In 2019, his appointment as captain of Motor Yacht Lady Sharon Gale was recognized by Select Yachts, highlighting his professionalism and capability. Today, Chris works as a Marine Technician with Coastal Air Systems while remaining deeply connected to the yachting, marine trades, and hospitality industries throughout Palm Beach County. He continues to apply his maritime background, mechanical knowledge, and service mindset to every role he undertakes.
